The project is to create an online course for kids (8-18 years). The course will cover basics of game development. It can be game development on any platform, but it should not be too complicated, as this is for kids. The course should be taught as mini lessons, with each mini lesson being about development of a small game (or one large project that creates a game at the end). The course will be delivered mostly by way of video tutorials. Little bit of text and screen shot instructions can also be used if necessary. So I have a few ideas, you want to teach game design in what aspects? Do you have any platforms in mind? Some platforms allow for dynamic code compilation while others do not allow. Meaning kids could play around and test a few ideas until one works.
