I need help with design and manufacture of a device that can track the speed of a horse. I need the device to link to a cell phone and send a notification or alarm when the horse is going over a certain speed (let's say 15 km/h). The device must be small enough to attach or embed in a horse's halter. It needs to have at least a two-mile radius. I will take any suggestions. This device will hopefully prevent many injuries in the equestrian industry.

i have worked in a similar project before ,it was for bicycle,i can give u real time monitoring for the speed of the horse,also the alarm can be received on many devices such as email,SMS, voice call,.... for the dimensions it will be with the size of match box and can be powered by any USB power bank
