Hi, I need help with a project I'm doing on a power factor improvement circuit using PIC16F887, I'm running the simulation on Proteus before making a prototype. Facing issue on PF reading on the LCD display. The LCD should read current, voltage, and pf measurement of any load connected. I already have a code, so just need to debug and look through the code to find errors or mistakes to make it run and display the current, voltage, and power factor of a load, then improve the pf. Further details will be provided.

This bid is for verifying the power factor *measurement* and / or *display* only. If you need assistance with the power factor *correction* also, then I would need to treat that as an additional milestone. There are a number of reasons why the values might not be displayed correctly: 1. problem in the voltage / current sensing circuits 2. incorrect ADC configuration / readings 3. mistakes in calculating the voltage / current from the ADC readings or the power factor calculation code 4. problems in the LCD display routines Have you ruled out any or all of the above possibilities yet? I use MPLAB X IDE version 5 and the XC8 compiler. If your development environment is different please let me know. (I use Linux so do not think I will be to replicate your circuit simulation using Proteus unfortunately). I have some spare 8-bit PIC microcontrollers at hand - so would at least be able to verify the LCD display, the ADC routines and the power calculations. I am based in Ireland - GMT+1 timezone.
