As for the calculations, you want an output electric power of 1500 watts (50*30), so we will base our design on getting 2 kW mechanical power. This will require at least a water flow of 0.01 m3/s on head (water fall height) of 20 m.

Hi, I have no experience in designing electro-mechanical machines, so I would like to have the opportunity to get into this world. As I see it from first sight, we will have to determine the lowest values of head and flow and to calculate from there the maximum power we can gain. Producing and designing a quality turbine blades it is very complicated and very expensive- so for my opinion we should check for shelf product and build the case around it. so over all, I think that this project needs to begin with: 1. definitions 2. calculation 3. shelf components search (or maybe finding a complete turbine) 4. designing and simulation 5. design for production (NOT INCLUDING PRODUCTION DRAWINGS) .
