The projetct is to install vb6 on a desktop computer. (can not be a VM) It will be necessary to install some activex (2 or 3). After installed is necessary to create the .exe from our existing source project.

The project is to convert a very large VB6 application from using ODBC to using REST APIs. Application consists of hundreds of VB forms so this project is expected to go for 2 years. The proof of concept scope is to develop the initial LOGIN mechanism and display the main form of the application. The application main form is similar to a CRM in function. The main form displays customer account and service information. We have attached a document with some screen images to give you a feel of the scope of the POC. Next step is to alter saturation and brightness of a single imagelist image. No fancy interface need for that, numbers only for the saturation/brightness values. I have a VB6 application that is starting to fail on some Windows10 machines. Returns "Out of memory error 7" but strangely runs of some machines. Application is a graphical frontend that has input menus that collect technical data for a product. The frontend then calls a simulation program that analyses the performance of the product.
