Windows Media Services Setup

I need to have the abilty to stream media from my WIN2K Advanced/WIN2K3 Server. I need for someone to explain in the most basic verbiage, exactly how to create an asf/asx file (or whatever files are needed) to be able to stream media. Ideally, I'd like to have aa sample file to reference when I created the files on my own. I need to know where the files need to reside on the server and everything needed to get Media Service running smoothly and properly. Beng that I am not the most technical person, having tools like demo movies to walk me through the process or something that is dummy-proof wil be of great help. Again, I am technically challenged in the ways of Media Services, so I encourage you to explain the process in a manner that someone with a 1st grade education can understand the process. According to both of my servers, the Media server is connected and running. Should you need more information, I'm more than happy to provide it.
