I need a basic website designed and built for a House/Office Relocation Company, and I want it to look impressive even though it is a simple website. This is not going to be a one-off job. We want to form an ongoing relationship. We are seeking a business who is very comfortable to work with who does professional and quality work. We will need to be able to see in detail a Portfolio of your work - preferably "live" client websites. Please supply us in detail your level of experience in website design and building. We would like to be able to check out your existing client's feedback. With the projects we will want to see a "mock-up design" ( Concept design) to make sure we have communicated our needs to you correctly. ---------------------------- WEBSITE DESIGN ---------------------------- We need the websites in HTML, so we can make changes to them at a later date. We are not interested In Flash websites, with Flash navigation etc. But we are happy to have Flash header graphics, but the website itself and its controls needs to be in HTML. We do also use Sothink DHTML Menu program to do our menus sometimes. With any of the Flash header graphics, we would require the SWF file as well as the FLA files In case we need to get them changed to suit the client at a later date. We are quite open to having a HTML web site using CSS. With this technology we will be able to configure colors on our clients site by changing color values in only one page. We do not want you to use standard "out-of-the-box" templates for any of the websites - they must all be relatively original. We require the websites to be search engine friendly, and Google friendly. ----------------------- Some of our future projects will require a Content Management System to control content - eg. a Shopping Cart site using Joomla, Virtuemart and Paypal as the Shopping Cart. We are open to your ideas and expert opinions and experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) ------------------------ TIMEFRAMES ----------------------- The timeframe for the different projects will usually need to be completed within a few days to a week - depending on our clients requirements. Delivering each project "on time" is very critical. We require very high standards of service and quality. ---------------------- WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE ---------------------------- We will provide reasonably detailed project specifications. For the majority of projects we will be able to give sample websites on which to base the ideas for the new website to be modeled - that way it will provide you with how we need the site to look-and-feel. In each case we will want something similar to, but not exactly the same as some existing websites on the internet. ----------------------------- OUR CLIENT BASE ----------------------------- At this stage all of our website clients are based in Australia and New Zealand, hence someone proficient in Australian English and Gramma is requested. The winning bidder needs to be a good communicator in the English language.
