Description: An ultra-low power Bluetooth Low Energy application should be developed on an existing hardware platform. A professional knowledge about BLE and ultra-low power applications is necessary. The CC2541 from TI is used. The freelancer has to use the BLE stack from TI (1.4). Schematics will be handed over on project start. Test environment is available. The acquired information on the BLE interface has to be displayed on an E-Ink Screen ([login to view URL]) connected to the SPI interface of the microcontroller. The stack should be configured as a Central/Observer device. The microcontroller should read and evaluate the advertising messages and connect to Hilti peripherals. The display has to display multiple full-screen background image and 6 Strings with variables (X,Y) positions. The content and X/Y position of the strings depends on the device connected to. The deliverables: The freelancer needs to sign our Consultant Agreement and sent it with UPS in advance. Fully Functional IAR Project with all source files (ready to compile). Clean, structured and documented source code 1h of 1-1 introduction into the source code

Hello, I am really interested in this project as it is exactly within my scope of expertise. I have all the TI CC2541 development kits from TI and have experience of customizing the BLE_stack 1.4. I have not done with the E-Ink Screen, but seems ok for me after going through its datasheet. Hopefully you will provide remote access for experimenting with E-Ink Screen. I have good experience on Low embedded processors. Also i have IAR IDE. I worked with many low level buses like SPI/I2C. At my current client we are already using 1.4 version of TI stack communication. This project was started before i started working with them so most of the development was done but i played some some of the code. If you can spend 10 mins with me on this we can flush out all the details. Looking forward to work with you. Also i have used PC based BLE dongles to test BLE FW.
