I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - i'm guessing you need/want a new driven belt (for chain-pinion transmission) 2 - the belt should be made from modular elements 3 - which is the width of the belt and minimum element length 4 - the belt should allow curving in order to follow the path? 5 - it is necessary to have some fixtures to allow assembling different accessories (paddles, supports, etc)? 6 - what material should be used - anyway will be a combinations of materials, but the belt elements need to be all alike 7 - the belt should be designed for a certain industry/application or to be universal?
