A typical fire hydrant system consists of a water reservoir, a diesel operated main pump, an electric operated main pump and a small electric pump for maintaining line pressure, with a feedback from pressure switch, along with a pipe ring-main, with hydrant points and hose boxes. Capacity of pumps and pipe sizing can be done on receipt of plant layout. I have designed and implemented complete fire hydrant system for industries like Linde Gas, Meta Strips, Thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel, Jindal Aluminium and Century Extrusions.
