Can't Start mysqld - Please Help

On CentOS. I was trying to upgrade MySQL Server to Version 5.6 so I removed the old version with yum and installed the new mysql-community-server. But when I issue "sudo service mysqld start" I get the error message "MySQL Daemon failed to start. Please help.
