I need to develop simple software that allows midi files to be played, while showing an animation of an instrument being played, along with a graphic illustration and/or score. There is basic software that already does this for a piano keyboard, called Synthesia. There is also a similar open source version called musicope. Examples similar to that I'm thinking of can be seen on these youtube videos: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] I'm looking for much higher quality, and to use a selection of different instruments, including keyboard, recorder, flute etc. I can help with the technicalities of the music/instrument side.
