I need to a Bash / Shell Script backup file. It is half-written. I just need someone to finish with some details i don't know how to do. The scripts needs to work as follow (the parts already done i will mention) 1 - Backup some directory and DB and compress it to tar file, with a timestamp as name. 2 - Save file to a backupfolder (done). 3 - Move the backup file for a folder named after the backup time stamp. 2 - Create an MD5 checksum, and and put the backup debug in the backup folder 3 - If the backup folder has more than 10 backups, delete the oldest backup. This should be very simple and straightforward for an experienced user. More information on PM.
