I've traded stocks, options, and commodity futures for years. I've worked in equity analysis on the institutional side (Beacon Research) and I've studies technical analysis as well as fundamental analysis. I've also traded based solely on technicals, although my preference would be to first screen stock picks using a valuation based on fundamentals, then trade them (that is, enter and exit) according to technical signals. I'm familiar with the most-often-mentioned technical indicators. Although I've done quite a bit of writing about stocks, I'm not finding any of my stock articles at this minute.
