Green Station Industries Introduction Due to the recent updates on the National Evironmental Policies, Green Station Industries has seen the need to improve the energy efficiency, both, in the offices and in employee transportation, in order to fulfill the new policies. This report proposes some energy-saving strategies and measure that will optimize the company's processes. Findings. On a recent study of the building structure and the offices, we found that the lights on the frontal offices are turned on about 95% of the time. Also, we found that on the resting areas for employees, several electronic and electric devices such as coffee makers, TV's among others, are plugged in all the time, even when the offices are already closed. Even though the building has several stairs that reach every floor, 80% of the employees take the lift even when they're just going one floor up or down. Regarding the transportation, 50% of the employees drive their own car, 30% take the underground and 20% take a cab, to get to the building. Conclusion After making all the pertinent observations and studies, we determined that most of the energy consumption of the building comes from very small things that can be improved with just some minor changes.
