Hey guys We have a Django project that tracks the progress of an 'event' through a process that involves a number of users. PART A - We need the automated tests written to check that an event can successfully move through each stage after each coding update and that the results at the end are correct. PART B - The project contains a number of models. For one of them we need to track how each record changes over time. So we've set up a history database for which a new entry is created everytime certain fields in the main database is changed. I now need to write a query that shows what each record in the main database looked like in the past. This involves a query that finds the records in the history database that are the oldest records that are before a given date. It needs to return this 'oldest record before a given date' for each record in the main database. In choosing the successful candidate we will value specifics in your response on how you would solve this particular problem.
