CDAP Report Proofreader/Formatter (Part-Time Contractor)

The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) was announced in the 2021 Canadian Federal Budget to help small and medium-sized businesses (SME(s)) gain access to professional marketing services to develop a strategic plan and implementation roadmap to increase their online presence, digitize operations, and create training and work opportunities for young Canadians. Coach House Marketing is an accredited digital advisor authorized to facilitate the CDAP application process. A review of the applicant’s systems and operational processes has been performed resulting in recommendations that, when implemented, will help applicants remain competitive in today’s digital environment and grow their business through the adoption of new digital tools and strategies pursuant to the CDAP guidelines. As a Report Proofreader and Formatter, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in elevating the writing and presentation of our final deliverable, the CDAP Report, more specifically: - Improving the way we communicate our recommendations throughout and towards the end of the consulting process - Focusing on fixing language errors that have been overlooked while respecting the overall theme and intent of the content - Using your expertise with language syntax to fix inconsistencies and errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation, as well as final document formatting using our Style Guide - Providing direction and feedback to writers to ensure final content is aligned with our message The project has a tight deadline of 3 days and the report is approximately 200-250 pages long, so the freelancer should be comfortable finalizing a document of this length given the time frame.
