I am looking for an experienced product designer who can assist me with designing a new style of a measuring device. This original device is very simple in its design. It is molded from a single piece of plastic and only has two moving parts. The new version of this needs to be completely original and more modern looking, yet just as simple. Once a freelancer has been chosen, I will supply them with a photo of the original device as an example. I could arrange shipping of the original device as well, if needed. I will also require an NDA for this project. Freelancer will be awarded this project based on several factors, including experience, feedback, portfolio, and (most importantly) bid amount - please bid your best price.

I have 25 years working in product design and manufacturing and have the skills to take any product right through the design process to a level ready for manufacture. Working for many international companies such as Wallmart, Speedo, Hitachi, Visa, Tommie tippie and Tomy. To date I have assisted in taking over 40 products into production and have been responsible for creating IP for many other companies. There are 3 basic stages to my work. Stage 1 – initial concept Stage 2 – design refinement based on your feedback from stage 1 Stage 3 – Development of chosen concept – this will look at developing parts for manufacture or prototyping. Hello, I am an industrial designer with years of experience. I am very familiar with manufacturing and prototyping processes. I speak fluent English so we can have a Skype conf. if needed. Signing an NDA is not a problem. I believe 5 days should be enough to complete the task, but I would need more information in order to give precise time estimate. Can you please disclose any more info? Are we working with plastic, metal, have you already made the physical prototype of the device? I am experienced with 3D printing too, so I can arrange 3D printed prototypes if needed. Also, I collaborate with the local toolmakers and can arrange the molds tooling if you like.
