I have thought about this exact system several times before as I use Lynda. com regularly. However their implementation is fairly buggy. I use both macs and windows machines and will love to construct a stable multi platform video viewer for you company. I understand the need for validating your videos and allowed device. I have a few ideas of how to make it work smoothly, and hassle free. While we would definitely be able to pull the mac address from the downloading computer and embed it into a shell for the individual video. It may be worth looking into having the video linked to an account on your site, and have individual machines linked to the users account. This would allow users to share between a few of their devices which improves user usability, and does not rely on mac addresses. Mac addresses are able to be changed easily by software, and can cause issues with devices with multiple connection types. I.E. Ethernet port, and WiFi card. That's just one of the ideas to make the program work, but of course its just an option on the table. I have many more ideas and look forward to working with you on this project.

We have many clients using our technology to sell protected elearning content on Pen drives for playback on Windows PCs and Micro SD cards for playback on Android phones and tablets, with thousands of Pen Drives/Micro SD cards already sold using our technology. Technology deters copying, ripping, file sharing, torrenting, screen capture etc. Technology works offline and has features like control on number of devices videos can be viewed on, expiry date, superimposition of serial number (to deter video camera in front of monitor recording), limit on the number of times a video lecture can be viewed . Other customizations also possible depending upon your requirements. Technology is licensed (technology licensee agreement and services agreements need to be signed). Technology initial license fee is initial Rs 20,000 per platform + service tax, then a charge per per pen drive or per MSD card. We provide apps with your name and logo as part of the licensee fee. If you need video compression training, to fit more hours of video in less GBs, we provide that as well. You do not need to provide any content to us, all content securing and burning of media will happen at your end on your PCs. We will provide our technology, apps and training.
