Hi, i am an experienced web developer with years of experience in sugarcrm & suitecrm. i have worked with vtiger as well but i prefer sugarcrm because of it's flexibility. 1. it allows you to add tables or change existing tables and create complex views with custom modules on top of it. you can have any types of fields permitted by DB. so it is very easy to manipulate your data in sugarm compatible way. you can transform any DB to sugarcrm DB but it just needs good understanding. 2. you can customize modules to add ability to set reminders based on certain date fields via sms to a particular number via clickatell. or you can add scheduled jobs for certain activities. sugarcrm is flexible so anything is possible with custom modules. 3. to have the ability to invite external users to certain modules and let them see data, you need to create users and set access rights,. you can even do it on the run time. in some cases you can even design single sign-on for access to certain modules. to protect data security you can build custom modules for specific types of users. 4. i suggest Reseller Panel (Where any company can white label the product and resell) to be either custom application for easy management and access or can be a custom module. 5. sugarcrm's 100% of code remains unchanged because you build custom modules on top of it according to your needs. in case you need to discuss your requirements in more detail, you can contact and discuss with me anytime.
