PHP script customization

I have a Joomla plugin that imports data from RSForm into CRMery, but there are some minor changes needed in this plugin. Currently, the form fields "name", "phone" and "email" are imported in the CRM. The script checks each submission and imports this into the CRM, based on the email address. When the email address exists, the form data is added to the existing user. If not, a new user is created. The problem is that when an existing user submits a form, the name and phone fields are begin replaced with the new data. What I want is that if there fields are already filled, they don't get overwritten. The second problem is that all the form data is imported correctly, except checkbox and radio fields. Any data is these fields only displays the text "array" after importing. Also the hidden fields should be excluded from importing. Hidden fields are the fields that display only when a user chooses the "other" option in the radio selection. I need a PHP programmer to fix these minor flaws in the script. It's a plus if you have experience with Joomla.
