I need a customised chat application for my online shopping application. I do not want to use any third party chat application. I want one developed and integrated into our online shopping application. Details will be given in chat. Hello, Can you let me know which language is used in the shopping platform? If you'd like to have instant chat like facebook/google talk has, then it can be build with nodejs and socket.io. Also if you except high traffic on the chats then a seperate server is needed. If you want something simple then PHP will do but that wont be much realtime and use server resources more often.
