Hello Sir, I read your project description and can recommend you a better way to do it. Instead of creating and updating xml file you could make a php file to show as an xml and with rewrite it can be accessed like [login to view URL] It would save server resources and provide latest sitemap directly with data from database. :) Drop me a message for more details.
