High Level Overview: The system will send an automatic email to the yachts advising them that a tracked document is set to expire shortly. It will then ask them to upload the new document. When a new document is uploaded by the user the status is set to “Under Review”. An email is sent to Operations asking them to review the document and accept the new document. Acceptance changes to status to “Active”. At that point the original document status changes to Renewed. Users would be able to access a “document name” and see a multi-year history that includes the dates of the current document and any historical ones. Users could also click on a link to download the document. The system would use the [login to view URL] API to upload and save PDF documents and put them into a specified folder and name the document according to a naming formula utilized by the system. That naming formula will allow documents from a boat and similar type to be sorted so that the list together. Automatic emails will start going out to the yachts 90 days (xx = a variable setup by admin) prior to the expiration of a document and will send regular “nags” and escalate along the way. A "manual" version of trackign these documents is currently done in excel. WHAT THE DELIVERABLE IS: A complete PHP/Symfony application that can be easily integrated into our existing internal systems. The main table in the existing database that will be utilized for integration is the Boats table. (A sample in excel is provided.) TYPE OF RELANCER WE ARE LOOKING FOR: An experienced PHP/Symfony programer who is cabalbe of deliverying a ready to use module that can easily plug into and become a part of our existing system. PROJECT STATUS: This project is partially complete. It was started by another freelancer who could not complete it. Screen designs are done and some PHP is posted. Not sure if will be helpful or not
