Built a new website

Hi My name is Shaz and I work for Optikinetics. We are a leading innovator in specialist lighting projection, and we were looking to have our website updated. Below is our current website: [login to view URL] This is all preliminary, and we are open to suggestions/options/ideas and what is a best fit sales & marketing wise. But we are essentially looking to split our products into 2 groups, those we are looking to sell to end customers, and those we are looking to sell to businesses. We are looking at two different pages, both on the same website with an option for customers to pick the B to B option (which we could call something like OptiPro) or the B to C option (OptiHome?). Either that or two completely different sites, with easily accessible links on each site for customers to cross over (“Want to light up an entire hall? Why not go Pro?” – hyperlink). The B to B site could essentially remain as the Optikinetics page is now, looking professional but perhaps with an updated modern look and feel. Housekeeping issues to be taken a look at – there seems to be a few obsolete pages, old part numbers on product pages, linking search terms to product pages etc which we are looking to carry out internally. With the Aura projectorbeing more about sensory needs (mainly for people with autism and calming requirements), when the customer clicks on the Aura page we could have all the usual info on the page, plus images/videos of the Aura in use in sensory/calming environments in the background, and perhaps previous customer quotes, a feature on app use - small things here and there which would nudge a potential customer who’s on the fence about whether the Aura will be suitable for their sensory needs. Also a widget linking to accessories and to wheels…again, open to suggestions On the Kino side, which is a new projector we are looking to launch, and is targeted at trendy individuals, we would also have a page for accessories and for effect wheels (would the wheels page be the same as the Aura one, and also the B to B 6” effect wheels page? Or separate pages for all three?). But the look and feel would be completely different and more in spirit with a funky hipster vibe. An option for a White projector or Black, with the page generating an image/short video of the projector in action for each, as well as the projector in action on every page going all the way to the checkout, to increase persuasion. Similar to how these guys have their product displayed in real word environments - Giant lava lamps by Mathmos. Kino use in a tick tock video, house party, podcast etc to give these customers ideas where they could be using this projector and to show that they too can achieve their tick tocker/podcaster dream with the Kino. Plus social media links. At the bottom of the OptiHome page, a brief look at our history could be put there (we have a video on this) To summarise something like the attached: The Aura and Kino site is to be very different and we are for you to help create a look and feel in line with our customers and goals. For this purpose we have come up with some words to best describe what we want each part of website to feel like: Look & Feel Cool, Fresh, Clean, Funky, Simple, Minimal, Conscientious, British, History. User’s Kino – Creative, Hipster, Tech Nerd, Recreational Drug Users, Artists, Musicians, Designers, Cool, Trendy, Gadget. Aura – Sensory, Autism, Special Needs, Parents, Carers, Light Therapy, Relaxation, Distraction. Functionality Needs to have current functionality (Vat exempt forms, manual download link etc…) but also be better linked to social media, integrate with current management software.
