This project requires a creative professional willing to think beyond the normal boundaries of website design. I will have to have exclusive rights to the site, and the professional hired may not sell or reuse the work. The project is for the creation from scratch of a new e-publishing site. The site will, essentially, post the works of authors for people to read. However, the presentation of the site, along with the tools available, are critical for the proper functioning of this site. For one, the text must appear in the format of a book, with runable pages that essentially renders scrolling obsolete. An account system must be created so that users can individualise their experience and keep records of what they have read. A payment system must be built that allows people to 'tip' and contribute any amount of cash they think fit. A system for sorting and organising the work will need to be developed. Once the site is finished, I will need a simple function to allow me to continually upload new texts into the system. If the site is successful, their is the possibility of future work for the expansion and development of the site. Please send me any CVs, references or examples of work you may have done.
