We have a customer who wants his vBulletin (3.8.2) forum checked for security holes. We basically checked the site already, but we're not experts. The goal is to break into the forum, gain administrative rights and submit the hole, so we can fix the security. This job is strictly confidential, as it's a big forum (> 300.000 users). To state it clearly: You only get paid if you successfully break into the site.

To be perfectly honest, vbulletin 3.8.2 is full of security holes and could easily be compromised using a number of different methods. I would recommend updating to 3.8.7 PL4 before even beginning this process. If that's not an option then I'll gladly break into 3.8.2 for you :)

I do have a valid license for vBulletin 4.0 series. I also have been using SQL and PHP for almost a decade. I am familiar with SQL injection.
