We have a customer that is interested in having a custom web-based application very similar to the LexWin product (found at <[login to view URL]> )... They have a sample download of the product on that site... It is a program used to manage a library including MARC file import export, checking books in and out, keeping a card catalog, etc…
Since this new application would be web-based, there will be differences from the versions shown on the site, this is just what they are looking to accomplish… Also, they are looking to use MySQL as the backend database…
Just to be fair and up front, this bid is for a prospective job, the customer will make a decision based on the bids received for doing the work...
If you do respond to this bid request, remember it is exactly that, a BID request, so unless you have a specific question about what we are looking to do to make a more accurate bid, please quote a price... We will disregard all replies that do not contain a price quote or further questions to come up with a price quote... We do not consider cover letters and resumes with no price a valid bid for our projects...
Thank you for your time reviewing our project...
