Programmer/Web Development

Growing online audio publisher seeks experienced website programmer/designer to develop new website. Audio content will be delivered via the web and other technologies. Graphic design experience preferred but not necessary. The initial phase will be a one page demo website with basic functionality only. The second phase of design, and possible second bid, will require full functionality with secure shopping cart, password protected log-in etc. This is a contract position for initial web site design and we will need future support for website updating/maintenance. Programming/Web Development • Web Interface Design (may use graphic/interface design templates initially e.g [login to view URL] ) • Create a secure/password protected site (SSL) with client log-in etc. • Custom Programming (import customer data into MySQL database, and or excel) • eCommerce Development - using 3rd party software solution such as [login to view URL] (SSL, shopping cart, affiliate tracking system) • Website Statistics (may be part of 3rd party solution - measure traffic to site, track what purchased, etc.) • Cross Browser/Platform Testing and Debugging (ability to host site temporarily to debug) • Search Engine Optimization/Placement (ad words/key words to show up on the top of Google search, etc) Programming Experience With: • MySQL, PHP, Perl, CGI scripts, Flash, Audio Streaming, Video Streaming (a plus) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
