When using Exchange Explorer to register a system wide even sink, the Exchange Store Event Sink Registration Wizard does not let you select the "any" option when determining the scope for the event registration. Here's what we are doing: 1. Using Exchange Explorer we go to http://localhost/exchange/SystemMailbox{GUID} 2. We then drill down to Store Events, then globalevents, then click on "file" and "add event registration" 3. in Exchange Store Event Sink Registration Wizard, we give the Sink a name, and click on next 4. select Synchronous for the kind of events to register, click on next 5. select "OnSinkSave" for which events to fire the event sink, click on next 6. "when do you want your event sink to fire" we cannot select the "any" option - we only have deep or shallow. What we have done to try to resolve the issue: 1. Administrator has been delegated full admin rights - and this is the case - administrator can access any mailbox. 2. MSDN has no solutions. 3. Tried to access http://localhost/exchange in Exchange Explorer - this did not work which indicates a permission problem somewhere - but where? Anyone who can help with this will be regarded as an exchange guru extra-ordinaire!! Access to a test machine can also be provided via Remote Desktop to help demonstrate the issue.
