Web Calendar Project NOTE: PROVIDE A SAMPLE OF YOUR CALENDAR WORK, IF NONE IS GIVEN EXPECT NO RESPONSE. Current Calendar running on webcalendar v1.05(04 Mar 2007) modified Other calendars in Outlook, Hotmail/Live and Google. Can either use this or design something new or a different platform. Purpose: New Calendar platform will be consolidated accessible via web and have ability to be administered by admins and viewed by viewers. (Two types of accounts). There will be multiple calendars, that can be defined: 1. Shows 2. Bookings 3. Dispatch Deliveries 4. Staff - Shop and Office - vacation - time off 5. TBD **Each of the above calendar types or categories will have basic info. i.e. Date, Time, Description, Location fields, some fields may be customized i.e. load in, load out. ** ** ** It would be ok to have the ability to have a default calendar for each user, but allow a user to add a calendar to their login, or users would login to accounts that allow multiple calendars to be combined. The primary difference in calendars will be with the (2) Studio Bookings calendar, which include the following info. 1. 11 Positions for each day, for each Studio, (Studio 1,2,3,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 and Green Room) 2. Tasks/Notes for each day, that will be visible by viewers, and editable by admins. In addition we are looking to setup calendars for employee schedules. About 30 people at this time. On the studio calendar we are looking at have spaces for 12 studios so that we can see when a studio is available. Calendars can either be combined in one view or separated. Platform: web, php, mysql, sharepoint, etc.. currently running linux with php, mysql Other option is use a web based calendar that allows for multiple calendars and integration and sync to Outlook and Google. Approx 40 users will need either admin or view permissions, about 10 admins and 30 viewers. Prefer hosted solution as opposed to local services if possible.
