VT100 Terminal Emulator C++/DOS

This project is for a VT-102 terminal emulation program. OS/platform is PC-DOS, or DOS equivalent. (FreeDos or the like). Coding must be done in Borland Turbo C++ v3, or at least must be able to compile using TC v3 ***without*** code or project modification. (#ifndef’s are an exception, ok to use if you need) **Code must be written to the VT-102 specification detailed in the attached zip file, which contains a PDF manual. This manual contains all the specifications for the terminal emulator. ** ***Please review the attached manual before bidding***** ** Coder must be familiar with VT-100 series terminals and terminal emulation. The manual may make the project look larger than it is. Keep in mind that it lists all of the codes there are for the VT-100, so a lot of it is reference documentation, but is helpful. Most of this can be found on the web in one form or another. FUNCTIONS REQUIRED (in addition to the manual): Program must have a menu option to allow Keyboard input from *either* COM1 *or* a standard keyboard port. This is a bit different from a standard VT100 emulator. Baud and parity must be able to be set. I’ve included a good example program that might be helpful, the old DOS Procomm program (yes, very old school) works good. It only works in real DOS mode, won’t work in Win32 console dos window. NO printing support is required. (it’s listed in the manual, but not needed) The character sets mentioned in the manual will need to be supported in the program. Thank you in advance for bidding! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
