.Net MVC 4 Development (long term assignment) Our Goal: - We want to develop applications for the iPad in the area of banking/finance. We will begin the first phase with 2 applications. - These apps are server based. Thus, the server side has to be developed. Additionally, a web client will be developed with Kendo UI. - We want to achieve the development of a first version of these 2 applications within a timeframe of three months. Your Opportunity: - Work within a start-up company from day 1 on - Contribute in developing state-of-the-art applications for the financial industry - Work in a team of 4-6 people - Work with two senior programmers & architects - Possibility to continue working on future releases and next applications (long-term mandate) Your Responsibilities: - Contribute to developing the server side and the web client - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little supervision and in accordance to a reference implementation - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use Your Qualifications: - Sound education in software development and/or experience in this field - References of past work - Experience in developing at least 2 server based applications Your Abilities: - Strong communication skills in English or German - Able to write clean code - Able to write modular code (no spaghetti code) - Know the basic concepts of programming (code re-use/abstraction, information hiding, loosely coupled components, etc.) - Know the main OO patterns - Know client/server concepts - Programming in C# - Know .Net MVC 4 - Know Web API - Know mobile development with Xamarin - Know Kendo UI - Know Entity Framework and SQL Server - Know Azure Our Terms to Qualify: - Candidates have to work for the next 3 months exclusively on our mandate (100% occupation) - Selected candidates will have to work the 1st week on a trial basis. If we are satisfied with the collaboration, we will compensate for the trial week. - Start Date: 16th June 2014
