Plesk Linux Deditacted Server MySQL Database Error

I have a dedicated server from 1and1.com. I can no longer create databases. For the past few months I've have database errors with some of my wordpress sites displaying the following error (unable to connect to database). This is usually easily fixed by repairing the "options" table in wordpresss. Now I'm unable to create any databases. When I try to access databases in plesk, it times out (freezes) indefinitely. I tried to upgrade plesk and I get the following message: Error: New files of configuration for Apache web server were not built due to errors in configuration templates. The detailed error message was e-mailed to you, so please check the e-mail, fix the errors, and click here to retry generating configuration. they then advised me to do the following: [login to view URL] I tried but was unsuccessful. I imagine this is an easy fix. I need someone to perform these commands so I can create databases and upgrade plesk. Considering this should take about 10 min. to complete to someone skilled in this area, my budges is $30.
