Hire a Mobile Developer

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to help us build out the iOS side of our mobile application. You would working directly with our team of in house developers (4 of us) and reporting to our VP of Product Development (he's pretty awesome). We are firm believers in Agile management and stay highly organized. We have a tight time-frame so we need someone who understands time management and can keep up. Requirements: • Experience building rich and very responsive interfaces, knowledgeable about UX, transitions, animations, etc. • Demonstrated proficiency in Swift (2+ years) and iOS frameworks • Demonstrated experience with Objective-C (3+ years) • Experience writing native app unit tests • Experience using and maintaining some sort of continuous integration (CI) system • Demonstrated experience using some sort of local persistence store such as Core Data, Realm, etc. • Comfortable with sophisticated Git workflows • Cognizant of threading issues, performance and caching techniques • Knowledgeable about HTTPS and web services • Solid knowledge in object-oriented design, protocol-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design • Proficient integrating mobile applications with RESTful application back-ends • Excellent debugging skills using command line and Xcode • BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience (5+ years) Other desired skills and experience: • Experience building location aware apps a plus • Experience with Firebase and/or other web socket technology • Experience handling sophisticated push notification systems • Ability to code review and mentor junior developers in industry best practices • Experience working within agile development environment • Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail • Good organizational and problem solving skills • Good team player, self-motivated and well organized • Strong communication skills
