There is a function that already exist for the calculation of the index ([login to view URL]) in matlab. The problem is that it calculates monthly values of the index and i would like to have daily ones. As an input i have the daily temperatures on a grid. I would need someone that understands how to calculate it - it may be a bit tricky- to properly adapt it to daily values.
