Hello, I would suggest a detailed audit of the server's setup first, then a roadmap on what to do - from php, mysql optimizatio to installing some new software like a nginx microcache or varnish, depending on what you have there. The problem is the terrible logic of the login code that needs to read in all existing users and during this process this slow query is fired. This is - stupid.
