Hello, i'm looking for someone to help design a database that will be used to store large amounts of product data. What we've brainstormed is it might be faster if the database was decentralized and split up into smaller pieces The database needs to be fast and it needs to be relatively low in footprint. it needs to have a connection api that allows connection from a site to the db. There will also be a layer on top of the database as well that will be basically an "intelligent" router that will route a query to the correct database. Here's an example of the router: [login to view URL] This is a long term project, looking for an MVP ASAP. For us to take your request seriously, please give us a detailed write up about your approach to this database design.
