We require someone to advise us on our legal position with regards to the naming of a new product which will be sold internationally. We need to understand our position on any potential conflicts against other companies already using the proposed product name name and what we can do to avoid these. It is also possible the other parties have not registered any official trademark. We will give you details of these once awarded. We would then seek to have you write a simple statement of advise sumarising the position once established. It will also be helpful if you have the ability to conduct a proper trademark search on the name across US, Canada, UK and Australia. Please advise what additional costs exist to perform these searches.
