Website for fitness (Fit-Web)

I aim to develop a module that can be used by the people for their fitness purpose. The system would be responsible for keeping track of the fitness of the user and would also provide them the diet that they are supposed to follow according to the results obtained. As we all know, body types have three main categories: Ectomorph: Lean and long, with difficulty building muscle. Endomorph: Big, high body fat, often pear-shaped, with a high tendency to store body fat. Mesomorph: Muscular and well-built, with a high metabolism and responsive muscle cells. My aim is to create a application which will ask user various question regarding their body to determine the user’s body type. Based on this information my application will be suggesting what diet a user should follow and what workouts a user must do to stay healthy. I am on using Nutrition API like Edamam for suggesting diets depending upon the body type of the user and using wger API to provide the list of exercises user needs to do depending upon the body type of the user. My application will be retriving clients health information from their wearable devices like a fitbit after seeking permission from them. My application will then process this information, analyze it and visualize it in a form of a dashboard so that users can track their progress. Health data is very sensitive and hence I aim on implementing OAuth 2.0 authentication to ensure that only the authenticated and authorized personal is able to access this information. With this project, I want to expand my skillset in the field of web development. This project is an excellent opportunity for me to learn the latest Web Technologies like MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js) Stack, IoT integration, and OAuth 2.0 security implementation.
