I am building a home on my farm for my elderly parents to live in. I'd like a new home designed. The style I'm interested in is eco-friendly with a total of 2 bedrooms. Key Requirements: - The home design should be eco-friendly. -We will be using 8" ICF blocks for all exterior walls - A modern and functional floor plan is essential, with a focus on utilizing the space efficiently. - The project should be delivered in a timely manner, while maintaining the quality and accuracy of the design. - I am attaching an initial design 32'x40' plus attached 30'X20' garage/workshop -the roof will be 4/12 pitch and we are wanting to put a gable above the front door, we do not want any other roofing lines or angles, the roof will be metal/tin. - I want to order the trusses to be at least 38" and overhang them over the front of the house to create a front porch. I would like pillars in the front. I want the ceiling above the living room/kitchen area to be vaulted. - the home will be built slab on grade, acid washing the concrete floor to be the finished floor - the home needs to be ADA compliant (we are building this home for my elderly parents) -I do not want stairs going into the home, all entrances (front entry and garage entry) will be concrete slab. -because we are building this home for my parents, I need it to be as cost effective as possible. -We are building this home ourselves (we built our own home 15 years ago!) Ideal Skills and Experience: - Expertise in architectural design, particularly in eco-friendly projects. - Experience in creating innovative and practical floor plans, especially for smaller spaces. - Proficiency in 3D modeling software to provide a visual representation of the final design.
