Hi I need a freelance flash developer to put together a site for a graphic design company. The site is predominantly a portfolio of past work, and the only animation that's really needed is transitional (sideways scrolling) effects between the slides.
The site is pretty small - 5 to 6 pages and then about 15 portfolio items. It needs to look sharp - really good transitions / animating of popup (more info) content, but pretty simple and easy to get around at the same time - i.e. nothing too over the top. They have all the static jpegs ready to go, so it's really just an assembly job.
Headlines on the homepage will need randomly rotating, and if possible it would be great to randomly change the order of the portfolio elements so that content looks fresh, but this can be discussed.
Also, they would like a blog area, now this can be in html using wordpress etc but if you know of any flash-based options then please do mention it, since it would look great to be fully integrated in the site.
Finally, the main part of the site that needs regular updating is the portfolio section. I'm sympathetic to the fact that it's a little more difficult to achieve in flash, but let me know if you've got any thoughts.
If you're interested, please get in touch with any examples of similar work, where you based and a rough price. We can then send you jpegs and further information.
The project needs to be preferably finished by the end of Jan.
Many thanks.
Tim
