why don't we make it a website so you can access it from anywhere, even your phone? I can also make a mac app with xcode but I think the web version is better for your interests

Hi there, there are quite many DB options to run on Mac - MySQL, MS Access, LibreOffice Base and so on. The majors question will be - how you want to interact with it and what type of data you want to keep. I'll be happy to help you with the setup - either just select and install DB engine or develop whole solution.
