Creative writing excerpts

I need 3 short passages for English comprehension passages. They should follow these guidelines: - Between 900 and 1100 words - Original if possible. You can send your previous work if you want. - Minimal direct speech (only 2-3 lines at most) - No fantasy / horror genre - No boyfriend-girlfriend topic (at least not as a central focus) - No sex, drugs or alcohol as a topic - No violence (or at least minimal and not graphic) - No cliffhanger ending. A clean resolution - Some variety of emotions/situations across the different paragraphs for interest value - The 3 passages should be on different topics with different characters - Some level of difficulty in the vocabulary with some difficult words, but not in every sentence. Also the difficulty should not be in the topic (e.g. if the topic is so specialised that no teenager would be able to understand, e.g. high finance, etc) - Some metaphors and short descriptions - A title and author name (you can use your own name, or a pen name). May not follow exactly what the passage is about (e.g. you can pretend it is from a longer book, or maybe it is from your book). Some topics that are popular as passages (you may use them as inspiration, or write on completely different topics, as long as they are considered suitable for teaching purposes): - Mountain-climbing - Solo travelling / sailing - Travelling across deserts - Experiences in nature (e.g. scientists observing primates, etc) Fee: $18 Deadline: 5 days
