Do you have 2-3 years Accounting experience, expert Excel skills, and a hunger to learn new skills and processes? Then you might just be who we need for a newly created pivotal role in our Financial Operations department. Guided by department objectives and priorities this position is primarily responsible for maintaining the partners' capital and loan. Assists in development and implementation of procedures to optimize these processes. Ensures client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of position. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for A/P, A/R, setting-up and maintaining ACH information, and processing all invoices. The Staff Accountant will take part in General Ledger reconciliation, month-end close, and handling cash management. The Staff Accountant will interface with department managers and supervisors to secure proper payment approvals and accurate coding as budgeted. The Staff Accountant will process and oversee the expense reimbursement and reporting including processing payment of credit cards. The Staff Accountant will recommend, develop and implement new processes to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of this company using QuickBooks, will be implementing an ERP system. Responsibilities • Processes company Cash reconciliations and AP and GL issues • Using QuickBooks systems and intermediate Excel skills to handle day to day invoices and processes • Respond to the vendor, employee and client inquiries regarding invoices, expenses and check requests Qualifications • 2-5 years experience in preferably public accounting or a high-growth company • Industry experience: Manufacturing, Construction, or Tech • A/P and A/R, GL, and some payroll experience • Knowledge of NetSuite, Concur, or SAP is a plus but not needed
