We have "gear design experience" i.e. Calculating static strength, dynamic strength, modeling true involute gear teeth, etc. Do you have a plan for manufacturing your gears? We often find it best to design around standard, production gears. We have a good source for manufacturing them. Production gears will be cleaner, stronger and cheaper than any prototyping method. Our policy is we only deliver CAD files to clients after project is paid in full. Perhaps we could do 50/50 for milestones 1 and 3? Milestone 2 is optional. - milestone 1 Decide on standard production gears or prototype gears. Complete CAD design (creo .prt, .stp, .stl) - discounted price assumes no gear life calculations or FEA Fully dimensioned 2D drawings (creo .drw, .pdf)- discounted price assumes no GD&T and standard tolerances - milestone 2 CAD & drawing updates per client feedback - only paid if changes required - milestone 3 All is good.
