I am a PhD student with a scientific background. I have experience with excel spreadsheets (both coding in VBA and in cells), and work in R for statistical analysis. If you want your work to be done cheaply and accurately, but possibly take a little longer (time-frame is negotiable from above) if I have to work with new techniques, then accept my bid.

I have an undergraduate and master's degree in engineering and am a practicing engineer. My field of engineering (water resources engineering) requires intensive data analysis which I have done both in excel and R. I believe and example of this is very similar to your project. For my master's thesis I studied climate change in the Connecticut River Watershed. This required the use of 3 mathematical models all using different software. I originally started my analysis using Microsoft Excel, but midway through decided R would be more versatile tool for the project. I coded all the original analysis from Excel into R and used many R packages to create the final product. I can provided some of the sample code at your request. I can guarantee quick responses to all communication and a fast turn around. I am flexible and understand a project like this will require some iterations (i.e. addressing any and all comments).
