Editors and Writers Needed for Daily News Stories in Texas

Needs to hire 5 Freelancers We’re looking for writers for our news organization to cover several categories like celebrity news, sports, politics, health, Science and Technology and etc. Your accepted news articles could end up on the front page of Google and Google News, usually within minutes, and your byline and details (such as photograph) will also be featured on our site if you choose to write for our news organization. This will be a great opportunity for writers to build their personal resumes by getting a lot of published news articles into Google and Google News everyday. All of your articles will have your own name or your pen name on them. You will also be building a portfolio of published news articles to show future employers if you decide not to work with us full time in the future. We’re looking for approximately 25 writers to rewrite a minimum of 5 - 10 news articles a day, for 5 days a week. These 25 positions are available immediately and you will be hired on a trial basis to submit content 5 - 7days a week. Any 5 - 7 days of the week is fine and submissions may be made any time of day. We’re also looking for two editors for our news organization. This job is rewriting news articles, which is much easier than writing original articles. Each piece will be around 250 to 300 words, and most pieces may include quotations which do not need to be rewritten, thus reducing the amount of work involved. The articles can be business, entertainment, sports, technology, finance, health, world news, us news, teen topics, etc. The rewritten articles should be in a smooth flowing, news-like style (but without adding a personal view or opinion). I'm looking for long term writers, with additional work available if you want it. We pay at the start of every week for the previous week's work (Mon-Sun) through oDesk. Articles must be completed with good grammar, punctuation, spelling and they must pass Copyscape premium. You should be a native English Speaker, or have an excellent knowledge of the English language. You should be able to communicate by email daily, and need to be available Monday - Sunday. We need someone who can start right away. We will also need you to commit to writing these news articles everyday - if you miss deadlines we will stop working with you and that would be a waste of time for the two of us. You do need to proofread the articles before turning them in. These articles need to be unique and 100% Copyscape Free (except for quotations), and will be checked for plagiarism, in which case you will not be eligible for payment. ***All articles have to pass Copyscape premium to be paid**** Once we agree to work together, we will choose the niches you are most suited to write on. Beginning editors will be responsible for one site and would be adding/editing 7 to 10 articles a day for that site, thus earning $7-$10 per day. Experienced editors can or would get paid a little higher. Again, experienced/trusted writers can submit content directly to the sites via email for editorial approval.
