I Need to develop a plugin to dynamics CRM 2016 on-premise which give me the ability to 1- check what are the users who did read the record (Opened it) and the user information like his IP and which client he used mobile or browser etc. the entities that need the plugin to work in are : Opportunities Order Qout Account Lead invoice 2- To check who did export to excel in the CRM in the entities above too with date time and other information like which entities maybe which view he used. Note: Need a clarification on how this will affect the performance of CRM and DB size. Regards,

As i understand, you need a user audit system. It's possible to write a generic plugin which works on every entity you need. How many users do you have? And what is the usage frequency? Performance issues depends on these questions. We can write the data on a crm entity or a seperate sql table. Also why are you needing this information? Where do you think to monitor them?
