Just by looking at the description, I think I have just done an iOS app similar for one of my clients. That's an alphabet flash cards with some pictures representing the corresponding words. When clicking on an apple for example, it pronounces the word of "apple". Also an educational app in terms of category. Please check PMB I wish to know more about. I have also attached a capture screenshot of the app I am talking about above.
